You can expect that you and your teammates will come to a greater understanding of what God expects of His people in response to those in need and to have a better handle on effective, practical responses.
You can expect to become more passionate about local and global missions.

Transportation and Lodging Expectations

Air Travel: If you are arriving from out of state by air travel, we highly recommend that you fly into Midway Airport (MDW). We will arrange for pickup for you at this airport. If you decide to fly into O'Hare International Airport (ORD), you will need to use public transportation to make it to our office.

Driving Directions: We are located at 500 E. 61st Street on the south side of Chicago. Our building is on the north side of the street between Eberhart and Rhodes Avenues.

From the Chicago Skyway/I-90: Take the Saint Lawrence St. exit. Go north (right) to 61st Street where you will take a left. We are the first building on your right after Rhodes Ave.

From I-94 from the north: Take the 63rd Street exit. At the stop light, take a left. Cross the highway. Turn left on Eberhart Street to 61st Street. W are on the corner of Eberhart Street and 61st Street.

From I-94 from the south: Take the 59th Street exit. At the light, turn right. At King Drive turn right. Head to 61st Street where you will take a left. We are the first building on the corner of Eberhart Street.

Parking:
Free street parking is available with the exception of the area immediately in front of our building.

Lodging:
You and (or) your group will be staying at Ellis Avenue Church while you are with us. The church is housed in a former single family mansion which has since been converted into a church. They have carpeted floors, cushioned chairs, a few couches, bathrooms, showers, and a kitchen. Men and women stay on separate floors. Meals will be prepared in the kitchen.
