Dave Clark – City Team Leader
Dave first began his work with Sunshine as a volunteer in the fall of 2001, while he was graduate student at Moody Bible Institute. He completes two summer internships with Sunshine in teh summer of the 2002 and 2003, before coming on staff full-time in January 2004. He currently serves as City Team Leader, overseeing Sunshine’s youth outreach programs. It is clear in Dave’s life that he is passionate about the mentorship and discipleship of young men. He greatly enjoys his volunteer time inthe local public schools as well as involvement in tutoring, Bible studies, and sports ministry activities.
Dave has a B.S in Economics and Management from Albion College in Michigan and a Master’s degree in Urban Ministry from Moody.
Dave serves on the board of Africa Revolution (a missions organization in South Africa), the Washington Park Chamber of Commerce, and the 6100-6200 S. Evans Block Club.
He lives in the Woodlawn neighborhood and enjoys watching and playing sports, working out at the local YMCA, reading, and spending time with friends.
