Our Mission

Sunshine Gospel Ministries exists to seek renewal in the city through ministries of discipleship, mercy, and justice. We do this through building relationships, teaching and mentoring, developing life skills, care and advocacy in our community.

Sunshine Gospel Ministries is a 501(c)3 organization bringing the message of Jesus Christ to under-served communities in Chicago. God uses Sunshine to provide under-resourced young people and their families with hope for a healthy future. Our programs teach basic disciplines necessary to becoming Godly, civic-minded participants in family, church, and community. For more than 100 years, Sunshine has worked to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to areas of need around Chicago.

Through programs emphasizing Biblically-based models of living, Sunshine Gospel Ministries helps young people and their families improve their lives through devotions, witnessing, literacy, vocational readiness, and responsibility.
