Discipleship Bible Studies

Our Bible studies each seek to glorify God through discipling youth into a growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We do this by showing youth their need for the Savior's love, and then, by teaching them how to live in obedience to the glory of God.

Sunshine held one of the first Awana programs for youth back when we were located on Clark Street. We are teaming up with Awana again this year. For nearly 60 years, Awana has been a leader in children's ministry, helping churches, parents, and ministries, like us, raise children to know, love, serve Christ.

Based here in Chicago, Awana is the only organization with fully integrated evangelism and discipleship programs for ages 2-18.

This year's partnership program invited kids in grades 1-8 to join us one night a week for games, worship, Scripture memorization incentives, and Bible lessons.

Princesses is a weekly discipleship and mentorship program that engages teenage girls to become Godly women. The program is based on the Proverbs 31 woman who is a lady of well-regarded status with her children, her husband, and her community. W.O.W. seeks to teach and apply spiritual disciplines necessary for mature adulthood.
