Affiliations

Sunshine is a member of the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA). Their mission is to inspire and train Christians who seek to bear witness to the Kingdom of God by reclaiming and restoring under-resourced communities. CCDA ascribes to eight components – or pillars – for community development work. They are: Relocation (living among the people), reconciliation, redistribution, leadership development, listening to the community, church-based, wholistic approach, and empowerment. The Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability is an accreditation agency dedicated to helping Christian ministries earn public trust through adherence to Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship. ECFA provides this accreditation to nonprofit organizations that faithfully demonstrate compliance with established standards for financial accountability, fundraising, and board governance. They facilitate the exchange of knowledge and information within a community.
